Studio
Abenah González Studio emerges as a study in cultivated opulence, a fine art and fashion house informed by the rich visual languages of the Caribbean, Latin America, and West Africa.
Founded by Jamaican–Puerto Rican artist and designer Abenah Adelaide González, the studio inhabits a rarefied intersection where art and adornment become one.
Here, acrylic on canvas is not confined to the gallery wall. González’s signature roses and gestural abstractions are reimagined as wearable compositions, translated into digitally printed women’s beachwear, headscarves, statement one-pieces, and bikinis that carry the sensibility of fine art into the realm of the body. Each piece feels intentional, a quiet assertion of identity, culture, and form.
Guided by a refined approach to craftsmanship and narrative, Abenah González Studio moves fluidly between disciplines, dissolving the boundaries between collector’s object and garment. The result is a body of work that positions art not only as something to be observed, but to be worn, intimate, expressive, and inherently luxurious.
The studio’s presence has been noted across both fashion and cultural institutions, with showcases at London Fashion Week and Central Saint Martins, alongside features from Première Vision Paris, ARISE TV, British Council, and Fashion Bomb Daily, marking its evolution from a personal artistic language into a globally resonant studio.
